dog collar sizing:

Dog Collar Widths:
Dogma London dog collars are available in four widths:

3/4" 1" 1.5" 2"

If any of the above options are not listed in the drop down dog collar menu, it is because the print of the fabric may be too large to accomodate on narrow dog collars. Generally, wider dog collars look best on dogs who have long or large necks.

Dog Collar Circumferences:

Extra Small 7" - 11"
Small 10" - 14"
Medium 13" - 17"
Large 16" - 20"
Extra Large 19" - 23"
XXL 22" - 26"

Any dog collar can be custom made if your dog requires a smaller or larger sized collar than listed. Just email GL or check out the custom dog collar page.

martingale dog collar sizing and adjusting:

Choosing the Best Size of Martingale Dog Collar:
To measure your dog for a Martingale Collar, use a soft tape measure and measure three points - around the widest part of the head, behind the ears, and around the neck (where the dog collar will sit). Choose the smallest size dog collar that will still fit all three points. For example, if your dog has a 16" neck, select a medium sized dog collar (adjustable from 13-17") rather than a large, which is adjustable from 16-20 inches. Of course you can always just email GL with your three measurements and she can tell you what size of martingale dog collar will fit your pup perfectly!

Adjusting your Martingale Dog Collar:

Adjust your martingale dog collar by moving it up to the narrowest part of the neck. Pull upwards on the loop by holding it just behind the d-ring. The two metal slides should come together but not touch. With the correct size martingale dog collar there should be at least a two inch distance between the two slides. This will ensure the collar will continue to tighten if the dog tries to back out of his or her martingale dog collar.
